Inclusivity is about finding what is valuable in each of us. When we are inclusive, we take the experiences each of us has, and utilize those experiences to the better of our community.
It is great to be able to learn from others, and I am fortunate to have learned a lot from my own dad. While I value his teaching me about how to run a business, and even those long walks when I was kid and he made me do math problems, teaching me courage–grace under pressure–is one of the best lessons he taught me.
No matter who we are–regardless of color, ethnicity, sexual or gender orientation, ability or religion–we have something to contribute. Bigotry and hate have no place in any society, and such actions weaken instead of strengthen us.
